I designed flashcards in Canva, containing the first 56 'tricky words' from the research-based InitiaLit Literacy Program, widely used in Australia. These flashcards help students quickly learn their high frequency/sight words.


Each card includes:

  • a picture to help students associate an image with the word as a memory aid

  • a simple sentence including the target sight word and some decodable CVC words
